My thoughts strayed to retirement around 2001 when I turned 50. Remember “Freedom 55”?  That is age telling.  It refers to an ad campaign initiated in 1989.   My “Freedom 55” but evolved way beyond the original concept. Sixteen years have passed since I dreamed of retirement and aging has become an exciting journey for me and something that keeps me busy and active. Here I want to share some of my experiences and perhaps give some insight, inspiration, or simply save you a few dollars. All the best!
